Miami Heat Struggling

With last nights loss to the NBA-best Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat falls to 16-6, good for second place in the laughable Eastern Conference. What is a concern for Miami though, is their lack of size to get rebounds and guard dominant big men like Roy Hibbert who had a night with 24 points. Miami, coming into game a bit shaky after their winning streak was snapped, was out-rebounded and out-played by the Pacers who have not lost at home this season. The Pacers are no joke though, and have tremendous upside to take down the heat this year. If Indiana can get healthy and keep getting the ball inside, the will have punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals in May when they are believed to face the Miami Heat. If they want to beat the Heat and head to the finals for the first time in about 10 years, they will have to keep out-rebounding Miami and play big. I think Indiana has the better talent and is deeper, and Paul George is now a superstar behind LeBron James, which wasn't n the case when the teams met in the playoffs a while ago.

In the end, everybody knows these two teams will meet in the playoffs.. The team that out-plays the other wins and it is as simple as that.

  1. This was a good post and gave a lot of detail about the game and the players. However, speaking sports to me is like speaking Chinese its so hard for me to make sense of it. But reading this post i felt as if i could actually understand a good 64% of of what you were saying. It even was suspenseful at the end when you said it would be a challened for the Pacers to win against the Heat. good job
