Miami Heat Future
With Miami's loss to Oklahoma City on wendesday, they showed a level of effort that made me wonder if they want to play basketball anymore. "There's no running away from it," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. " Other than the first eight minutes of the game they outclassed us tonight. They absolutely deserved this win." The Miami were simply outclassed on Wednesday, and with their play it showed everyone in the league that they are not motivated at all. After winning two back to back championships, winning regular season games mean nothing to them. "We have some work to do," Spoelstra said. "We're like everybody else in the league. Nobody is infallible. We have some things to improve on. We know the things we have to improve on. We're not there yet." Coach Spoelstra understands the Heat have a lot of holes they didnt use to and must improve them. What is most dissapointing with the loss though, is the first couple minutes of the game seemed to preview a Miami blowout. Ibaka opened the scoring with a jumper, and the Heat answered with an immediate 18-0 run, not even needing 5 minutes to get what appeared to be complete control. With 6:20 left in the opening quarter, Bosh made a pair of free throws to make it 22-4. After that though, Oklahoma City went on a big run and led by many as 25 to make a statement win. And for Miami, they could have lost by 40 and not have worried, they just want the playoffs to come.

Movie Review
Whats Eating Gilbert Grape is an excellent movie staring Johnny Depp, Leanordo DiCaprio,
Juliette Lewis, Darlene Cates and Mary Steenburgen. The movie is about Gilbert trying to find his identity in life while he deals with a mentally Arnie as he tries his best to be the best mentor he can be. This movie focuses on the challenges a family faces in a small town everyday, and one which is struggling with a mentally ill child. Also though, this movie focuses on what true love is as a family. Through their tough times it shows how they came together and showed how a family should be. In the movie there was scene where Gilbert had enough of helping Arnie and the fact he was mentally ill just got the best of him, so he punched him several times and hurt Arnie. As soon as he left he house he realized to never hurt Arnie and how much Arnie meant to him. To me, this was a very powerful scene and made me realize many things about family and love. Gilbert came back into Arnie's life and made sure to never hit him and showed him the love he wanted to show. I personally thought this was a great movie because it teaches how strong a family can be, and even though things can be very tough at times, as long as you stick together as a tight family that is all that matters.
